Nursery / Preschool SEN 1 to 1, Beaconsfield
We are looking for an experienced 1 to 1 SEN Practitioner to join our supportive nursery preschool. We have an exciting opportunity, working 1 to 1 with a child in our preschool unit.
We’re looking for an adaptable, flexible, and resourceful individual who shares a real passion for helping children reach their full potential and strives to seek excellence in every day.
The role will involve 1 to 1 support for a child with a range of additional needs, working within the preschool to plan for their individual needs. Having suitable SEN experience is vital. This position is perfect for someone who is pro-active, enthusiastic and can use their initiative when needed and holds a SEN qualification and previous experience in a similar role.
We are a welcoming nursery and pre school, surrounded by beautiful grounds and stunning open spaces for staff and children to explore on a daily basis. We have excellent facilities, supportive caring team with excellent opportunities for all staff.
The successful SEN 1 to 1 will have:
- Experience with Special Educational Needs
- Experience of working with or caring for children
- Strong behavioural management skills (preferred)
- A commitment to promoting high standards in learning
- A clear DBS
Main Responsibilities of a SEN 1 to 1:
- To provide learning support on a 1:1 basis
- To develop knowledge of the particular needs of the child and plan accordingly.
- Support the child with their daily needs within the preschool room.
- Be enthusiastic and motivated.
Hours:
Ideally looking for someone who can work 4 or 5 days per week. Either working all year round or Term time only.
Hours can be discussed (key hours are between 9-3 Monday – Friday) But if someone who can work between 7.30-6pm 4 or 5 days per week this would be a bonus.
