Nursery Assistant / Senior Nursery Nurse / Nursery Practitioner Rickmansworth

We have 2 NEW roles and are currently looking for one full time senior nursery practitioner (qualified to Level 3 or higher in Early Years), and one full or part time Nursery Assistant or Practitioner (either Level 2 or level 3 qualified ideally but we can consider unqualified applicants with childcare experience who would like to start a career in Early years childcare – full training provided).
The Early Years / Nursery Practitioners / Assistants duties involve;
- Assisting the Room Leader and Nursery Management in providing day to day high quality childcare.
- Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children needs.
- Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
- Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS)
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Be qualified at NNEB/NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in childcare – highly desirable but not essential, we can also accommodate unqualified staff with a passion for childcare and training can be provided
- Be able to work well in a team
Salary is negotiable based on hours, experience and qualifications (advertised salary is indicative of a Level 2+ childcare qualification full time). We offer excellent career opportunities for the right candidates.
