Deputy Nursery Manager Maidenhead

We have a fabulous opportunity for an Assistant Nursery Manager / Deputy Nursery Manager at your setting in Maidenhead.
The role is full time, working full time, 40 hours per week. To apply your knowledge and best practice to ensure our children have the best start in life.
Main responsibilities of the Deputy Nursery Manager Maidenhead:
- To assist the Nursery manager in the day to day running of the setting
- To support the nursery staff and to ensure that they comply at all times with all policies, procedures and standards, including health and safety, hygiene, inclusion and confidentiality
- You will step up in the managers absence and assist with managerial tasks
- To lead the planning of safe, creative and appropriate opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS
- To develop and maintain good relationships and communication with parents/carers, to facilitate meeting the needs of each child, including organising meetings to update and involve parent/carers in their child’s learning
- To help supervise and contribute to performance management of staff
- Working creatively with children within the Early Years framework, in order to provide an enabling learning environment for all children
- Ensuring all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop
Qualifications & Experience required:
- A minimum of a level 3 recognised childcare qualification
- At least two years leadership/managerial experience within an early years setting
- A great working knowledge of the EYFS framework
