Nursery Senior Practitioner / Baby Unit Leader Beaconsfield
The Nursery Baby Unit Leader role is 40 hours, over a 4 or 5 day week, whichever suits you best. We also offer a great package of additional benefits and ongoing funded training opportunities are available.
We currently have an opportunity for someone to join our team at our Outstanding rated nursery and preschool in Beaconsfield. Looking for someone with good Leadership experience to help run our under 2’s unit, supporting the practitioners, room leader, and management team with the smooth running within our babies and rising 2’s unit.

Role responsibilities of the Nursery Baby Unit Leader include:
- Supporting the staff and management in providing the highest level of support and learning
- Helo with running the staff team in the baby unit
- Assisting the with planning, observations and paperwork.
- Helping to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment for the children
- Observations and write ups on children’s development
- Making the most of the beautiful surroundings by using our fully equipped garden and taking the children out on local trips.
The ideal candidate will;
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five, preferably with the babies age group.
- Hold a minimum level 2/3 childcare qualification
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages)
